First Class Flights Under 100,000 Miles: The Best Sweet Spots in 2026
Real first class flights bookable under 100,000 miles — ANA, Emirates, Singapore, and Etihad using points from programs you already collect. Updated for 2026.
Commercial first class is the pinnacle of airline travel — private suites, fully flat beds wider than some studio apartments, gourmet dining, and service ratios that make the flight itself a destination. Most people assume it’s perpetually beyond reach. These sweet spots prove otherwise.
1. ANA First Class (The Suite) — 110,000 ANA Miles One-Way
ANA’s flagship product, “The Suite,” launched in 2019 with fully enclosed private suites on B777 international flights. Each suite features:
- Sliding wooden doors for complete privacy
- A seat that converts to a 79-inch bed
- Zero-gravity sleep positioning
- Multi-course Japanese and Western cuisine
- Premium sake and wine selection
Routes: Select JFK, LAX, ORD, and IAD → Tokyo (NRT/HND) routes are The Suite-equipped.
Award cost: 110,000 ANA Mileage Club miles one-way from North America. For round-trip: 160,000 miles.
How to get ANA miles: Transfer from Amex Membership Rewards at 1:1. An Amex Platinum sign-up bonus alone covers most of a one-way The Suite ticket.
Availability note: ANA First Class saver space is available but not always plentiful. Search 10–11 months in advance. Call ANA (not book online) once space is confirmed.
2. Emirates First Class A380 — 130,000–180,000 Skywards Miles One-Way
Emirates First Class on the A380 remains the most iconic product in aviation. The private suite with a closing door, onboard shower, and bar lounge makes it feel less like a flight and more like a luxury hotel.
Routes: Emirates A380 First routes include JFK→DXB, LAX→DXB, SFO→DXB, DXB→LHR, DXB→CDG, DXB→SYD, DXB→BOM, DXB→DEL.
Award cost via Skywards:
- USA to Dubai in First: ~125,000–165,000 Skywards miles one-way
How to earn Emirates Skywards miles: Transfer from Amex MR, Chase UR, or Citi TYP to Skywards at 1:1. Capital One also transfers to Skywards.
Transfer tip: Amex to Emirates Skywards is a particularly clean transfer — the process is fast and reliable.
Caveat: Emirates charges fuel surcharges on first class awards — typically $100–$400 one-way depending on route. Still excellent value at the aspirational level.
3. Singapore Airlines Suites (A380) — 143,000 KrisFlyer Miles One-Way
Singapore Airlines Suites — only available on A380 aircraft — is often named the single best first class product in the world. Each suite has:
- Actual door (Makrolon-framed sliding door with full privacy)
- Double bed option (two adjacent suites can share a double bed configuration)
- Chef’s Table pre-order dining 24 hours before departure
- Custom Givenchy amenity kit
Routes with Suites: Singapore (SIN) to Frankfurt (FRA), London (LHR), Sydney (SYD), Tokyo (NRT), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Melbourne (MEL).
Award cost: 143,000 KrisFlyer miles one-way for North America → Singapore (in Suites).
Earn KrisFlyer: Transfer from Chase UR, Amex MR, Citi TYP, Capital One, or DBS/Citi/HDFC in India at various ratios.
Important: Singapore Suites availability is scarce and typically opens very close to departure or very far in advance. Persistence pays off.
4. Cathay Pacific First Class — 110,000 Asia Miles One-Way
Cathay’s First Class (on select B777 routes) is a refined alternative to Singapore and Emirates with a distinctly different character — understated Hong Kong elegance vs. opulent Arabian or Singapore showpiece design:
- Seats convert to a 77-inch fully flat bed
- Turndown service with mattress topper
- 23.5-inch screen
- Exceptional Cantonese-influenced dining
Award cost: 110,000 Asia Miles one-way from North America to Asia.
Earn Asia Miles: Transfer from Chase UR, Amex MR, Citi TYP, Capital One at 1:1.
Cathay First vs. Cathay Business: Cathay Business is far easier to find and at ~85,000–100,000 Asia Miles is also exceptional value. First is aspirational but business is a reliable premium target.
5. Air France La Première — 85,000–110,000 Flying Blue Miles One-Way
Air France La Première is the most exclusive first class in European aviation: only a few seats per flight (typically 4), personalized pre-departure service, Michelin-connected menus, and Hermès amenity kits.
Routes: CDG → JFK, LAX, MIA, YUL. Also CDG to select Gulf and African destinations.
Award cost: 85,000–110,000 Flying Blue miles one-way transatlantic in La Première.
Earn Flying Blue: Transfer from Chase UR, Amex MR, Citi TYP, Capital One at 1:1.
Flying Blue Promo Awards: Monthly promos occasionally include La Première at discounted rates. Monitor Flying Blue’s website at month start.
Award pricing reflects June 2026 rates. First class award availability is scarce — search early or monitor program releases.
