  • SafetyWing — travel insurance (~10% commission)
  • World Nomads — travel insurance (~10% commission)
  • Amazon Associates — travel gear and products (variable commission). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

We also display Google AdSense advertisements, which may show ads based on your browsing behavior as managed by Google.

Our Editorial Independence Policy

Affiliate commissions never influence our editorial recommendations. If a particular redemption strategy, airline, hotel, or product is not the best option for our readers, we will not recommend it regardless of whether we earn a commission.

In practice this means: we will recommend a hotel redemption strategy through Hyatt points even if we earn a higher commission from a Booking.com hotel booking. We will tell you when an airline award program has devalued its miles even if that airline's booking portal offers us an affiliate fee. Our loyalty is to our readers' interests, not to any merchant.

Identifying Affiliate Links

Affiliate links are marked with partner disclosure labels near the link or button. Look for phrases like "We may earn a commission if you book through this link" adjacent to booking buttons.
